Hicks Family Get Together 2013

We are looking at an informal Hicks Family get together on Saturday November 2 2013 – possibly lunch at Thirroul Beaches Hotel or Woonona Bulli RSL
– so a chance to chat with family members and then maybe a drive around Austinmer to Russell Vale to look at old Hicks family locations

Why November ? Well James and Margaret Hicks married on November 10 1834 in Penrith – so their wedding anniversary is probably a good month for a Hicks Family get together

I realise that for family members who are interstate or overseas that it will not be possible to make it
– however we could share photos with you via the Hicks Family Web site

In the meantime – here is the 1st issue of the Hicks Herald Family Newsletter  –  Hicks Herald 1

Hi Kerrie Anne. My name is Brian Harris and I love your Hicks Family blog. My grandmother Mary Thelma Woolley often talked about her Hicks heritage. She was the daughter of Christina Ann Hicks ( daughter of Henry T).
As you know Christina Ann married my great grandfather Edwin Woolley and lived in Lismore. I am the eldest of Mary Thelma Woolley’s grandchildren.
I know live in Moruya which has real Hicks connections through Christina Anne’s uncle and family.
I will try to attend the reunion – if at all possible. I enjoy learning about the Hicks side of the family.
